NB – HiFi
While at New Balance in 2003, I was chosen to complete the first formal “Blue Sky” project given to an In-Line Designer. Initially, I conducted interviews with our entire design staff to establish exactly what parameters a project like this should have. I figured this step would help our executive management feel better about what [for them] was uncharted territory. Deciding on a 2020 launch date, I was able to focus the project on whatever I felt was most relevant for the future of the Cross-Training category without the constraints of our current manufacturing process. This project was also successfully used to test and advocate for a department-wide Wacom Cintiq monitor purchase.
