Re:Solve
I chose to design a shoe for the fixed gear community as an initial project because it presents a unique challenge within footwear design. In order for a shoe to be appropriate on a fixed gear bike it needs to be supportive enough for efficient pedaling, flexible enough to be comfortable all day & versatile enough to be worn with every type of outfit. The following gallery showcases my preliminary thought process when designing such a shoe & keeping in mind it’s environmental impact.
